It's Been Awhile

It's been a while since I've posted here. Our computer had been dead for the longest time -the modem, anyway- but we finally got a new one so everything's dandy. I just have nothing new to write about. . .
Our cousin, Nova, will be in town tomorrow night, and so we're all meeting her for dinner. I'll have to speed (not literally) from work to South Tampa. Bad enough I was supposed to work a rib shift tomorrow, but they changed my schedule so I'm working a pot room shift instead, 11 to 7, with no way I'm leaving early. But in the morning, everyone -Momma, Daddy, Jackie, Justin, Bailey, Jimmy, Jennifer and Joanna- is going to the Zoo. They're meeting here between 8:30 and 9, hoping they open around 9. Joanna suggested that I go with them for an hour or so, but I think I'd prob'ly only be there for thirty minutes, and I'd be so anxious about work that I wouldn't enjoy any of it. I could be very irresponsible and just call in, but I would never do that. Responsibility sucks sometimes. . .
Oh, I got Rent for my birthday. Amazing musical! And I'm so happy they got most of the original cast to be in it. They were so good! And I couldn't imagine anyone else in those roles. Now they just need to do that with Wicked and I'll be happy!
